Relocate Me
This post was no joke on April 1.
I give you my backyard this morning:
Add to that 31 degrees and you may understand the overall somber mood up here. Last weekend was sunny and 75 degrees. One thing about living in Minnesota, we love to whine talk about the weather.
Now, perhaps, you understand why.

Maybe the wacky idea that the City of Minneapolis had 20 or so years ago to put a dome over part of downtown wasn’t so wacky after all…
It seems like the weather is wacky in a lot of places lately. Our tulips are blooming and it snowed here last weekend. I live in the Pacific Northwest.
“When you can’t be there…bVisual.”
Wacky doesn’t begin to describe our atypical Minnesota winter – those of us in the “east” metro only got an inch, while our friends in New Prague, like Derrick, got blasted, again. I heard that the Scandanavian types who settled here in the 1800′s thought that the the harsh climate was a good health restorative…of course, these are the same people who think nothing of cutting a hole in the ice and jumping in ….for fun.
Thanks to all of you for the encouraging comments. A city dome, cold NW and “only an inch of snow” in late April…now I sit here and look at the temperature – 24 degrees this morning. I’m off to listen to Christmas music this winter morning.
