Aptitudes - Goal Directedness
The ability to set, pursue and attain goals regardless of obstacles.
As a strength:
The salesperson is locked on to their goal and stays on target in spite of obstacles that occur during the process. They view results as important – they need direct rewards. They tend to remain motivated to achieve success through the support of an inner belief that what they are doing is right and important.
As a weakness:
The salesperson tends to be easily swayed from the prescribed course of action. They tend to not be motivated by external results and may focus on one aspect of a situation that does not lead to its successful conclusion. They may have difficulty accomplishing their goals when confronted with unforeseen obstacles or difficult situations.
